Nessmann GmbH was founded by Heinz Nessmann in 1987 and taken over by André Rabl in 2015. Since then, our company has moved to Austria and invested in brand new machinery, which has allowed us to make many innovations in the field of coating plates.
Our STRIP PLATE® and SPOT COAT are primarily used by larger packaging printers. Half of our market is made up of export sales and the other half by the German-speaking market.

Your advantages
Our spot coating plates are suitable for use with all water-based dispersion coatings, UV coatings and all other print coatings. Their surfaces are ink-repellent, which prevents ink from building up on them and that they hardly need any cleaning at all. Our STRIP PLATE® furthermore distinguishes itself through its excellent coating transfer characteristics and characterised sharp edges. Each plate can be used for producing 500,000 prints and above while keeping ink build-up to an absolute minimum thanks to their special surface finish.
